DALTON — The driver of a semi was treated for minor injuries when the truck he was driving was struck by a Wheeling and Lake Railroad train on Moser Road between Goudy and Amstutz Road Thursday morning around 10:10 a.m.
According to Dispatcher Valerie Davis of the Ohio Highway Patrol, there was no train derailment, and no car damage was suffered by the train. Cable Drum Transfer Cart
The commercial truck and trailer suffered major damage. The only leaks of any kind were from the truck, which leaked diesel fuel. Emergency Management Association was on the scene.
