CASPER, Wyo. — A motorcycle wreck on the Old Glenrock Highway on Saturday “could have been a much worse scene” had the rider not been wearing a helmet and proper leather riding attire, Natrona County Fire District public relations contact Leighton Burgen told Oil City.

The single-vehicle wreck was reported on US 20/26 east of Edness Kimball Wilkins State Park at 1:23 p.m. The female rider was transported to Banner Health WMC with “minor injuries,” Burgen said.

“We would like to remind everyone that decides to ride any two-wheeled vehicles (bikes, motorcycles, etc.), ATVs, or UTVs to please remember to wear all appropriate safety attire,” Burgen added.

“Spring is heating up, summer is around the corner and we want everyone to be safe!”
